I have added a calculator, among the rest of the calculators, that will tell you exactly how much of each ingredient it takes to make as many bottles of Sake that you want.

I am updating the website in 2020 to be more market functional. I do want to wait only because I have a few more test brews to make and gather data from my taste testers. I am hoping to have Greenly Sake commercially available by 2022, or at least damn close to it. Here is a preview of the new website. Let me know what you think. -Rob

After realizing that the filtering system I purchased from Amazon was total garbage I decided that I could make one better. This actually my third attempt over the past 2 and half years at this. The Amazon filter did give me what I was missing in knowledge. I needed a pump to pull the fluid through.
Went to Lowe's after the debacle of buying a pre-made filtering system. content media

Created two new tools here at greenlysake.com. One is a better ABV percentage calculator to get exact measurements and the other is and exact SMV calculator. Check them out next time you brew Sake.

Just started my winter batch. I'll be making double what the website recipe calls for. In the end I should have enough Sake to fill 9 750ml bottles. 🍶🍶🍶🍶🍶🍶🍶🍶🍶

It's that time of year again, time to make a nice double batch of Sake. Having a non-heated, attached garage allows me to let the Sake buckets sit in cool temps and not freeze.

Sadly I wish I could say it was opening day of my brewery it isn't, but it is my Sake bottle opening day. This is the day that I will open the bottle of Sake I finished brewing on July 21st. According to everything I have read Sake tastes really, really good if it is aged 3 months. This will be the final test of this summer brew. #greenlysake #Sake #sakebombs #sakemagazine #sakeeducation #saketasting #sakelove #homebrewing #homebrew #Sakebrew #sakeusa

I am anxiously awaiting the opening of the last bottle of Sake I brewed over the summer. I promised myself I would wait until my birthday at the end of the October. It will be the final test to my recipe online that proves that it is not only "Just" and acceptable Sake brewing recipe, but one that is a really good Sake brewing recipe. #greenlysake #Sake #sakebombs #sakemagazine #sakeeducation #saketasting #sakelove #homebrewing #homebrew #Sakebrew #sakeusa

Just finished bottling the two bottles of Sake after pasturizing them. Now that I have finished filming all of this process I will begin the editing and then publish the video. Stay tuned. 🍶👍😎

I tasted the Sake tonight and it has calmed down after being in the fridge for a week. it's not as dry anymore either and is almost sweet. I took some good pics tonight to show how it cleared up, here is one of them.
So after 1 week.... content media

I haven't bottled the Sake yet because I am waiting until payday to buy them. Just a small pack from the Order supplies page of the site. Hopefully should have this brew bottled and stored for fall by the middle of the month. From this pic you can see a slight difference in the Sake after "Cold Crashing". Look at the before (On left) and after (on right) after being in the fridge for a week. It got a little lighter, but not by much. To clear Sake I would need to put crushed activated charcoal directly in the Sake and then filter it with a micro filter, This is something you DO NOT want to do as a home brewer just starting out. Wait until you are making batches in the 10 gallon or higher range and you have a nice budget for this. What we have here is just regular, home brew sake.
